AJEROMI IFELODUN LOCAL GOVERNMENT, LAGOS STATE, NIGERIA. SANWO-OLU, ADEBULE FLAG-OFF AJEROMI IFELODUN ANNUAL MEGA EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM; ORGANISED BY THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN HON. AYOOLA.

 It was a day of glowing encomiums for Hon. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola, The Executive Chairman, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Council, at the Year 2022 Major Empowerment Scheme organized by the Council for the people of the LG.         

         




 Hon. Bolaji Roberts, the Special Adviser on Local Government & Community Affairs highly represented the Executive Governor of lagos State Babajide olusola Sanwo-Olu, he commended the unshakeable commitment of Hon. Ayoola at bringing  relief and uncommon assistance to the lives of his people inspite of the odds and ends the Council had gone through in the immediate past. 


"I am more than happy to be here to have the honour of flagging off this empowerment program today. I sincerely commend the efforts of the Chairman, for initiating this programme to the grassroots level and for Being able to put this laudable programme together."


In his welcome address, Hon. Ayoola buttressed that whenever he remembers his promises to the people of the LG when he was aspiring, he gets enthusiastic to do more. Speaking further, the Chairman said he doesn't need any motivation other than the pact he signed with the public during his aspiration.



"Except for once, we have never failed to assist our people with such empowerment as this. This empowerment has been an annual programme since the coming onboard of his Administration. But this year, we decided to  concentrate mainly on youth and women."


Lagos West Senate Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Her Excellency, Dr. Oluranti Adebule also commended Hon. Ayoola, saying what he has initiated and achieved are worthy of emulation to other Councils.


At a well attended ceremony held at the Council Secretariat in Ajegunle, headquarters of the LG that also had in attendance the presence of Prince Rabiu Oluwa and his wife, Yeye Ireti; Hon. Razaq Ajala, Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area; Hon. Bayo Olasoju, Chairman, Isolo LCDA; Hon. Lucky Uduikhue, Vice Chairman; APC LGA Chairman, Hon. Samuel Adeyemi; Hon. Lukman Olumoh, serving House of Assembly Member and Candidate, Ajeromi Ifelodun Constituency I; Hon. Arogundade Ayinde Kehinde, Leader of the Legislative Council; Hon. Kalejaiye Adeboye; Prince Sabur Oluwa, legislators, Cabinet Members, State and Local Party stalwarts, The following were distributed to the beneficiaries  during the course of the empowerment:               10 Mini Buses, known as Korope, as well as 10 Tricycles (Keke Napep).


Other items taken home by the beneficiaries were 35 Deep Freezers, 35 Refrigerators, 35 Mini Refrigerators, 15 Sewing Machines, 15 Grinding Machines, 15 Vulcanizing Machines, 15 Hair Dryers, 10 Medium Generators, 10 Barbing and Clipper kits, 10 Make-Up kits and 10 Spraying Machines.












For the categories of cashier disbursement, 40 Small & Medium scale Enterprises owners went home with One Hundred Thousand Naira each totalling Four Million Naira; 200 Petty Traders were assisted with Twenty Thousand Naira each while 100 Elderly ones got Ten Thousand Naira each.                

 Towards the end of the programme the beneficiaries appalled the chairman for his kind gestures and good deeds towards them.

  1. Dis is a good one,despite some haters will say wat did he do,hmmm think about it if every hon chairmen can b doing same thing every year as he use to among other ways of bettering his community people's life.God bless u sir,God bless Ajeromi and God bless Nigeria!!!!
