THE POST GRADUATE STUDENTS AND THE UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS OF UNILAG VISITS EKO ATLANTIC CITY.

 On Wednesday 9th of July 2025, The MSc students of Construction Technology and the 300level Building students had an Excursion to the Eko Atlantic City.


The students and the staff of the building department were accompanied by the management team.

They first visited Azurri tower comprising of 33 floors.

The Sales Executive, Mrs Mariam took them round the tower at the 33rd floor,  showed them an Accropode and what it entails, the buildings/structures nearer to the tower and how the tower construction came about.

They were shown a video clips of various construction stage of the tower (pre-construction stage, Construction stage and the post construction stage).





She also told them the cost of acquiring a land  per Square meter .

The project manager From APD Project  Management LTD also had a little conversation with the students on the importance of project management and its tools.

The students later visited a nine apartments construction still ongoing by SPG Contractors

The construction team of the SPG Contractors took the students together with the staff of the building department to the ninth floor with a buck hoist. They enlightened the students on various forms of contract, the various construction stages,  how the building was executed and a lot more.

The students, Staff of unilag building department and the construction team SPG Contractors later had a snapshot together at the end of the visit.



At the end of the Visitation, the students and the staff of the institution thanked the management team and then they departed.
